All Your Notes in One Place

You've been highlighting things. Adding sticky notes. Saving text. But where does it all go?

The Note Organizer collects your highlights, sticky notes, and any text you chose to save from Screenshot Reader, and puts them in one searchable, organized dashboard.

Learn how to use the Note Organizer

  • Sticky Notes & Annotations - Add comments and notes directly to websites and PDFs as you research.
  • Web Highlighter - Highlight important text with color coding that syncs to your note organizer.
  • Notepad - Write longer, formatted notes and essays in a dedicated notepad space.

What You Can See

Highlights: Everything you've highlighted across all websites.

Sticky notes: All your annotations and comments.

Saved text: Text you pulled out of an image with Screenshot Reader, when you set its destination to Save as note. The default destination is Copy to clipboard, so nothing lands here until you change it.

Where it came from: Each card shows the site it came from and opens that page when you click it. Notes you write inside the app show a General badge instead. Cards do not show a date, but the print export does.

What You Can Do

Search: Find notes by keyword instead of trying to remember which site they came from.

Edit: Update notes without going back to the original page.

Delete: Remove notes you don't need anymore.

Export: Pick the notes you want, then send them to your browser's print dialog or download them as a plain text file.

Synced Across Devices

Notes save in your browser's own storage. If you are signed in to Chrome, Edge or Safari and have sync switched on, a note you take on your laptop appears on your other devices, the same way your bookmarks do. Helperbird runs no server of its own for this. If you save more notes than the browser's sync quota allows, Helperbird keeps them on that device instead and they stop syncing.

Who Uses This

Researchers collecting information from many sources.

Students keeping track of notes across different subjects and sites.

Professionals organizing web research and reference materials.

Anyone who takes notes while browsing and wants to actually find them later.

Is This Free?

More writing features

It's easy to use with every webpage since it's just an extension. You can access lots of different functions to declutter a page (show only the relevant text and not ads, for example). You can add post it notes to annotate, and it has things like text-to-speech.
